Job summary

DivIHN Integration Inc is seeking a technical writer to develop and improve documentation for manufacturing and engineering teams. The focus is on work instructions, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and job aids.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts and engineers, research technical information from multiple sources, edit for clarity, and manage documentation projects to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical writing experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 required.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• PTC Windchill system experience is a plus.
• Ability to understand technical processes being documented; optics knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent written communication skills with clarity and conciseness.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and adapt to changing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, engineers, and operations gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Research: Investigate and analyze technical information from various sources to create comprehensive documentation that meets user needs.
• Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit documentation for clarity, consistency, and adherence to company style guidelines.
• Basic Project Management: Manage documentation projects, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, communication, technical writing, engineering, or science fields (preferred). Associate's degree or HS Diploma/GED with significant technical writing experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of technical writing experience, manufacturing environment experience preferred
• Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 a must.
