Job summary

TAE Technologies, a world‑leading private fusion energy company, is seeking a technical writer to support QA and Document Control. You will manage design documentation, write part specifications, and liaise with engineers and vendors to assure quality and traceability.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in technical writing, experience with ISO 9001/13485, and are proficient with CAD tools. HQ is in Southern California; a collaborative, fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical writing, prefer medical background.
• Excellent technical writing skills for mechanical, electrical and other high-tech products.
• Practical knowledge of Quality Assurance and Document Control.
• Ability to work with others and obtain information for accurate part specs.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and compile specs for procurement.
• Document design, testing, requirement traceability and inspection.
• Maintain documents and drawings per QA principles and ISO 9001 standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and vendors to gather component data and certifications.
