Amentum in Washington, DC seeks a Top-Secret cleared Technical Writer/Editor to join our team. You will translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences, supporting modernization efforts and enterprise applications across on-premises and cloud environments.

Partnering with engineering, program stakeholders, and executive leadership, you will develop user guides, implementation materials, and executive briefings to drive informed

Qualifications

• 7+ years creating technical and graphical IT documentation including SDDs
• Experience producing training materials for government management
• Coordinate communications between teams supporting applications user community
• Structure and organize technical docs to be intuitive and user-friendly
• Create outlines, templates, and style guides for consistency
• Collaborate with developers, designers, product managers, QA to meet needs
• Documented troubleshooting and problem-solving experience
• Experience as consultant or team lead

Responsibilities

• Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content with input from multiple departments
• Develop manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
• Coordinate with leads to identify repositories and centralize data
• Create information architecture templates and ensure policy/style compliance
• Produce content in alternative media for usability and consistent voice
• Maintain and update the organization's style guide and related docs
