Amentum is seeking a Top-Secret cleared Technical Writer to join our Washington, DC team. You will develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and executive communications to support modernization initiatives.

You will translate complex IT concepts for diverse audiences, coordinate with SMEs and government managers, and ensure all materials follow our style guide and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 7+ years of relevant writing experience in a cleared environment or equivalent.
• Experience developing, editing, and producing technical and graphical documentation for IT systems (SDDs).
• Experience creating training materials and working with government management.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support creation of technical strategies, executive briefings, and roadmaps.
• Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content.
• Collaborate with SMEs to develop manuals, specs, and process documentation.
• Ensure documentation aligns with the organization's style guide.
