Job summary

Abile Group, Inc. seeks a Technical Writer to create and maintain documentation for a DoD Classified Network Services program. You will translate complex cyber concepts into clear, structured content for diverse audiences and ensure RMF, NIST, and DoD policy alignment.

You will collaborate with cyber SMEs and engineers, support PMO governance, and mentor junior writers while producing both classified and unclassified materials.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains advanced technical documentation including SSPs, CONOPS, SOPs, RMF artifacts, playbooks, architecture descriptions.
• Translates complex cybersecurity concepts into clear content for diverse stakeholders.
• Supports PMO governance with briefs, memos, minutes, and risk registers.
• Collaborates with cyber-SMEs and engineering teams to validate accuracy of docs.
• Ensures compliance with NIST SP 800-53, RMF, ICDs, and DoD policies.
• Creates classified and unclassified documents with strict handling and version control.
• Mentors junior writers and contributes to standards and templates.
• Supports proposal development with technical volumes and past performance narratives.
