Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior technical writer to create high-quality developer and admin content for its Commerce Cloud platform. You will research complex topics, collaborate with product managers, engineers, UX designers, and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and completeness, and contribute to ongoing content strategy and best practices.

• Understanding of software development concepts, APIs, SDKs, and web technologies.
• Familiarity with Markdown, XML, and DITA.
• Experience with source control software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables within tight deadlines.

• Work closely with developers, product managers, engineers, UX designers, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of content.
• Contribute to content strategy development and execution, ensuring alignment with the needs of both developer and admin audiences and the overall goals of the Commerce Cloud platform.
• Continuously improve the user experience by providing clear, concise instructions, organizing content effectively, and incorporating user feedback to enhance accessibility and usability.
• Regularly update and maintain existing documentation to reflect changes in the Commerce Cloud platform, keeping content up-to-date and relevant.
• Share knowledge, best practices, and ensure consistency across all content.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and audience preferences to keep content relevant.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical writing experience
