Job summary

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Inc is hiring for a Technical Support 3 role focused on delivering high-level desktop support to internal clients. You will resolve software and hardware issues and provide leadership to junior staff while ensuring adherence to ITIL processes and service standards.

You will install and maintain workstations, manage image creation, and perform system upgrades. Proficiency with Windows, Mac, and Linux, plus Office 365, is essential. On-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Three years of desktop support experience.
• Current CompTIA A+ certification.
• MOS or Modern Desktop Admin certification preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 and Windows/Mac/Linux environments.
• Ability to perform in-person and remote support.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced desktop support for internal users, resolving software and hardware issues.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians; deliver white-glove support to executives and Board members.
• Install and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals; manage drivers and golden image.
• Triage incidents, log in ServiceNow, and ensure proper closure codes per ITIL guidance.
• Perform system upgrades and ensure integration with various servers and systems.
• Develop and execute PowerShell scripts to automate recurring tasks.
• Assist end-users with OS and application configurations across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Collaborate with teams to improve workstation reliability and performance.
