Job summary

INNIO Group in Houston, TX is seeking an Advanced Technical Support Specialist to provide high-quality troubleshooting for Jenbacher gas engines remotely and onsite, with a rotation schedule. The role covers commissioning, start-up, maintenance and working with customers, distributors and service partners to ensure site readiness and timely issue resolution.

Travel up to 20% within the Americas is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years in technical field service, with engine or gas compression experience.
• Experience with gas engine systems and controls.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-level troubleshooting for Jenbacher gas engines remotely and onsite.
• Manage service cases from first contact to resolution, including field dispatch.
• Support commissioning, start-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of engines and accessories.
• Coordinate with customers, distributors, and partners to verify site readiness.
• Contribute to service performance metrics and KPI reporting.
• Travel up to 20% within the Americas for onsite assignments.
