Job summary

GCC is seeking a customer-focused technical leader to guide technical services for cement and concrete products. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing, strong knowledge of cement, mix designs, and admixtures, and the ability to train customers and employees.

The role emphasizes presenting technical information, building trusted relationships with customers, engineers, and DOT personnel, and collaborating with operations to drive quality and innovation in the marketplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related engineering or manufacturing field.
• 10+ years in cement, concrete, construction or related manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of cement products, mix designs, performance and admixtures.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with engineers, DOT personnel, and stakeholders.
• PE preferred; able to deliver technical training and presentations.
• Experience with SPC and business software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to internal and external GCC customers.
• Develop systems to ensure cement products meet specs and quality targets.
• Promote GCC products through professional organizations.
• Coordinate quality and performance dialogues between GCCA plants and market.
• Study market trends and present findings to management.
• Deliver technical presentations and training.
