Job summary

GCC is seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead customer-focused technical initiatives in cement and concrete products. You will deliver technical support, develop quality systems, and partner with operations to drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years in manufacturing or construction, strong SPC and software skills, and excellent communication. PE certification is preferred, and you will build trusted relationships with engineers, architects,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing or construction related environments.
• Demonstrated ability to create and make formal presentations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in statistical process control techniques.
• Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with personal computer and software packages.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize and to work independently.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers of GCC of America.
• Develop and maintain systems and processes to ensure cement products meet customer specs with quality and reliability.
• Promote GCC products through active professional organization membership.
• Coordinate quality and performance dialogue between GCCA plants and the marketplace.
• Study trends in cement performance and present findings to GCCA Management.
• Present technical information on concrete mix designs, characteristics and applications.
• Build relationships and maintain trust with customers.
