Smart Working is seeking a seasoned SEO Content & React/Next.js specialist to join a fast-growing UK-focused team. You’ll blend 60% SEO with 40% hands-on development, driving organic growth while coding, publishing pages, and automating workflows with Claude and AI tools.

You’ll manage content marketing, analytics, and multiple websites, working remotely for UK businesses on a long-term basis. Strong YouTube promo and GA4/GTM expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in content marketing and SEO strategy.
• 5+ years driving Google Search and organic growth.
• 5+ years using GA4 and GTM.
• 5+ years in keyword research and competitor analysis.
• 2+ years with React and Next.js.
• YouTube content promotion experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall SEO strategy.
• Own technical SEO and fix issues affecting visibility.
• Conduct keyword research, intent analysis, and competitor research.
• Improve rankings, traffic and leads.
• Develop and execute SEO-focused content strategy.
• Identify content gaps and improve existing content.
• Manage Google Business Profile and local search visibility.
• Monitor SEO KPIs in GA4, GTM and Search Console.
• Ensure analytics tracking is correctly configured.
• Build dashboards focused on meaningful business outcomes.
• Use Claude and other AI tools to automate SEO tasks.
• Manage tracking, A/B testing and email automation.
• Build WhatsApp/web agents and promote YouTube content.
• Implement website updates directly in codebase (React/Next.js).
• Publish changes quickly, including same-day updates.
