Job summary

Leviton seeks a highly skilled Specialist, Technical Sales I to create end-user demand and grow sales within a major territory. You will build relationships with electrical contractors, distributors, architects, lighting designers, engineers, and end users to drive Leviton Controls adoption.

The role emphasizes expert product knowledge, collaboration with inside/outside sales, and training, with travel around 50% and a clear path for advancing within LMS channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required or strongly preferred.
• 7–10+ years of experience selling commercial control products or similar lighting and building control solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to work with executives, engineers, designers, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Develop an annual sales plan aligned with corporate goals.
• Drive sales growth by building relationships with end users, electrical contractors, distributors, engineers, and architects.
• Support controls solutions through channels, distributors, and national accounts.
• Lead technical, sales, and product trainings and contractor certifications.
• Establish Leviton Controls as a preferred option in project specifications.
• Coordinate territory activities with Regional Sales Manager and fellow reps.
• Act as a technical product expert for Leviton control solutions.
