Job summary

Essential Utilities, Inc. seeks aSenior Safety/Technical Training Lead to develop and implement training for technical staff across PNG operations. You will design initial and compliance training, lead investigations, and keep SOPs current while driving cost-effective safety initiatives.

You will deliver presentations to executives and staff, create visuals, and manage weekly technical communications. A strong background in gas operations and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of safety/technical training experience.
• Experience in natural gas industry and field operations.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, present, and update training strategies.
• Bachelor's in science or engineering preferred; related experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Lead, consult with and/or assist supervisors with all technical training concerns and conditions.
• Develop and perform all initial and compliance-related technical training for new and current employees.
• Lead, review and/or perform investigations and inspections to manage and improve the technical environment at PNG.
• Research applicability and viability of SOPs and all technical related procedures and processes; recommend changes as needed.
• Provide presentations to PNG executives, employees and customer; create visual displays as needed.
• Review and/or develop weekly employee communications addressing technical topics.
