Job summary

Head Energy Consulting AS is seeking a skilled Senior Technical Safety Engineer to join our offshore and onshore projects. You will perform detailed design and modification tasks on safety systems, contribute to compliance with Ptil standards, and coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams.

The right candidate has a Master or Bachelor in technical safety or related discipline, 5–10 years offshore experience, and strong English and Norwegian writing and speaking skills.

Qualifications

• Master/Bachelor degree in technical safety or other related disciplines. Relevant work experience can compensate for educational level.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience within offshore design and modification work in Norway. Experience should give capability of working independently on the V&M projects while collaborating effectively with stakeholders
• Knowledge of Ptil requirements, ISO- and NORSOK standards.

• Perform detailed design and modification tasks on safety systems in projects

• Active Fire Protection, AFP
• Area Classification and Ignition Source Control
• Fire and Gas Detection
• Escape, Evacuation and Rescue, EER
• Safety Integrity Level, SIL
• Definition of fluid groups, PED
• Working Environment Engineering
• Environmental Care Engineering
• Interdisciplinary coordination, checks, IDC, and verifications.
• Perform work tasks according to the company's and the clients governing documentation.
• Give concise input regarding cost and plan activities for safety aspects of the project.
• Identify and facilitate required risk and verification activities e.g. HAZID, WEHRA and design reviews.
• Follow-up of client, vendors and 3rd Parties.
• Support and follow-up of engineers.
• Work actively for a good professional and social environment in the group.
• Contribute actively to the process of continuous improvement and experience transfer.
