Job summary

Odfjell Technology in New Jersey seeks an experienced Technical Safety Engineer to strengthen our team. You will support safe design and operation of complex projects by conducting safety studies, supporting risk assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include fire and gas safety, shutdown philosophy, barrier management, and facilitating HAZID/HAZOP studies, design reviews, and project execution within Technical Safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree within Technical Safety or similar.
• Relevant experience within Technical Safety can compensate for lack of higher education.

• Barrier management in relation to safety strategies and/or performance standards.

The correct candidate will contribute to the safe design and operation of complex projects by performing technical safety studies, supporting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. • Risk management and barrier
• Drilling related experience is an advantage
