Job summary

Slope is looking for a Senior Technical Revenue Accountant in Costa Mesa, California. You will ensure compliance with ASC 606 and lead contract reviews while collaborating with various teams to innovate accounting processes.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of technical accounting experience. The position offers a salary range of $99,000 to $130,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package to support the health and recovery of our employees.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting with a strong application of ASC 606.
• Experience with government contracting including Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF).
• Exceptional communication skills for non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex arrangements and prepare ASC 606 checklists.
• Support and maintain fair value determinations.
• Collaborate across departments to streamline contract operations.
• Research ASC 606 for complex revenue scenarios.
• Manage audit requests and documentation for transactions.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in the implementation of internal controls in compliance with SOX.
