Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring across software, machine learning, research, infrastructure, security, and leadership roles, partnering with engineering leadership to scale our teams.

You will build top-of-funnel pipelines, design assessments, coach interviewers, track recruiting metrics, and move fast on offers while maintaining a strong candidate experience for Mercor's growing workforce.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting in high-growth or deep-tech environments.
• Proven ability to source and close passive candidates for IC and leadership roles.
• Strong metrics mindset with structured interviewing and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across software, ML, research, infra, security, and leadership.
• Partner with VP of Engineering, CTO, and managers to plan headcount and hiring standards.
• Build top-of-funnel through targeted outreach, referrals, events, and product-driven sourcing.
• Source and close passive, high-bar candidates with compelling storytelling and negotiation.
• Design assessments and calibrate rubrics to predict on-the-job performance.
• Coach interviewers on structured interviews and decision hygiene.
• Track pass-through, time-in-stage, and diversity signals; report weekly with narrative.
• Drive speed and quality: same-day debriefs, fast offers, strong candidate experience.
• Maintain bench of high-potential talent for current and future roles.
• Build Mercor’s brand with campaigns, content, communities, and events.
