Job summary

Wintermeyer Ventures is seeking an experienced Senior Tech Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for robotics, hardware, and software roles on an on-site R&D team in renewable energy. You will partner with engineering leadership to build a world-class team developing off-grid power systems for data centers.

You will lead sourcing, pipeline building, and closing negotiations with CTOs and leaders. The role is on-site in San Francisco, with compensation in the 210k–300k range and visa sponsorship

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, incl. 4+ years closing offers.
• At least 2 years recruiting robotics or hardware engineers, incl. senior roles.
• Hands-on recruiting activity within the last 2 years with mechanical, electrical, hardware, robotics, or software engineers.
• Experience in a startup/fast-paced environment in energy, defense, manufacturing, or tech.
• Strong sourcing, communication, and candidate-closing with CTOs/engineering leaders.
• Ashby experience is relevant.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

About the Role

Own full-cycle recruiting for robotics, hardware, and software roles on an on-site R&D team in the renewable energy sector. You will partner closely with engineering leadership to build the team developing off-grid power systems for data centers.

• Build outbound pipelines of passive candidates, including engineers who are not actively searching.
• Advise engineering leaders on changing hiring needs and recruiting strategy.
• Develop creative approaches to closing candidates with competing offers, including office visits and events.
• Represent the team's culture and mission throughout the candidate experience.

What We're Looking For

• Six to ten years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, including at least four years closing candidates from offer through acceptance.
• At least two years recruiting robotics or hardware engineers, with experience filling senior mechanical, mechatronics, or robotics engineering roles.
• Hands-on recruiting experience within the last two years and a track record of hiring mechanical, electrical, hardware, robotics, or software engineers.
• Experience in a startup or similarly fast-paced environment, preferably in energy, defense, manufacturing, or another technology sector.
• Strong sourcing, communication, and candidate-closing skills, with experience partnering closely with CTOs, co-founders, and engineering leaders.
• Experience using Ashby is relevant.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $210,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
