Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our culture. You will ensure that projects are effectively executed within budgeted cost and time schedules while ensuring positive cash flow.

This is a customer-facing role, and is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects. As part of a dynamic team, you will coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver value and growth for Convergint.

Qualifications

• Requires project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).
• Demonstrates initiative and proactive problem-solving.
• Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to facilitate a collaborative environment for customers and teams.
• Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership orientation and staff development.
• Solid financial analysis and cost-control abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate aspects for small to medium projects from award through completion.
• Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and project implementation plans.
• Communicate project requirements to the team and maintain accurate status records.
• Act as the customer’s best service provider and ensure service quality.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and services for timely completion within budget.
• Establish project milestones and analyze costs.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and management when needed.
