Texas-New Mexico Power Company is seeking a Technical Project Supervisor to lead design and construction efforts for distribution capital projects. Under general supervision you will plan large projects, coordinate teams, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with safety, EEO, and policy standards.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years related experience, strong customer interaction skills, and proven supervisory ability to drive multi-disciplinary work in a field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1–3 years related experience or equivalent.
• Training in leadership or related courses required.
• Direct customer contact experience required.

Responsabilités

• Plans, coordinates, and directs large projects or a number of smaller projects.
• Provides training and technical assistance to Project Leaders and Designers and helps establish training needs for other team members.
• Negotiates and manages contracts for projects, professional services, materials, and equipment.
• Reviews measurements and makes adjustments to the process to achieve team goals.
• Participates in project scheduling and assigns job priorities to meet requirements.
• Directs the work of others assigned to their project.
• Supervises, trains, and directs technical personnel and provides administrative support to management.
• Promotes awareness and compliance with corporate EEO, AA, and loss control policies.
