Job summary

Texas-New Mexico Power (TNMP) is seeking a Senior Project Leader for Utility Construction and Maintenance in Texas. Under general supervision, you will oversee large subdivisions, commercial projects, and major system improvements, coordinating design reviews, cost estimates, and field supervision.

Responsibilities include monitoring field work, directing teams, managing contracts, coordinating with Gas/Electric Engineering and external partners, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with seven to eight years of related experience.
• Two years of project management experience required.
• Experience in gas or electric utility design or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees projects that include large subdivisions, commercial and major system improvements, with design review and cost estimate approval.
• Monitors field work for compliance and completeness.
• Leads the team to resolve customer inquiries, right-of-way issues, complaints, and damages.
• Presents projects and participates in capital management process.
• Coordinates job requirements with customers, team members, and engineers.
• Schedules projects and prioritizes work to meet requirements.
• Provides training and technical assistance to team members.
• Negotiates and administers line extension contracts.
• Directs work of others on the project and coordinates with transmission projects.
• Reviews measurements and adjusts processes to achieve goals.
