Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Technical Project Engineer to manage high-visibility projects within the Risk Decision Group. This 100% remote role supports diverse stakeholders and coordinates cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities include defining work plans, tracking progress, managing risks, and delivering project outcomes on schedule. Candidates should have a BS/BA, US citizenship, and relevant security clearance; PMP/Agile certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Active federal background investigation with T5 adjudication or Top Secret eligible clearance.
• Experience with federal investigative standards and operational workflows.
• Minimum education: BS/BA with 2 years of relevant experience; MS/MA not required; alternatives listed in ad.

Responsibilities

• Manage small projects or a definable portion of a larger program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies.
• Direct and supervise all support resources for project assignments and manage the project through design, development, implementation and testing.
• Serve as single point of contact for assigned projects and interface with end users, business support, technical teams and leadership.
• Coordinate efforts within the project team to ensure expectations are met and communicated.
• Manage multiple projects and develop detailed work plans, schedules and status reports.
• Gather functional and technical requirements using standard project management methodologies.
• Prepare and be accountable for all project deliverables and conduct project meetings.
• Provide updates to senior management and stakeholders on progress and risk.
