Job summary

Peraton seeks a full-time Applications Programming Advisor to support critical missions within the Risk Decision Group. You will design, develop, and optimize web and database solutions, ETL pipelines, and reporting frameworks in an Agile environment.

This 100% remote role emphasizes strong full-stack and data engineering skills, collaboration, and translating requirements into scalable software with emphasis on data lineage and security.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret eligible clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• 8 years relevant work experience with BS/BA or 6 years with MS/MA.
• Experience supporting and developing custom web-based applications.
• 6+ years of experience Angular.
• 6+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, and Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications based on specifications from software developers or stakeholders.
• Create, modify, and test code, forms, and scripts to support functionality.
• Conduct testing and trial runs to validate accuracy and performance.
• Maintain and improve existing programs for efficiency and new requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Document data lineage, processes, and technical specifications for transparency and compliance.
• Develop advanced T-SQL queries including stored procedures, functions, and views.
