Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking an Advanced Technical Program Project Manager for an 18-month contract-to-hire in Santa Clara, CA. The role involves end-to-end cross-functional program execution across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and business stakeholders.

You will lead development programs from concept through launch, manage phase-gate milestones, cost controls, and risk mitigation, and build integrated project plans and dashboards to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical program management and complex product/technology development.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing plans, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
• Experience supporting new product development or other complex technical programs.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and build consensus across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cross-functional project execution with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and business stakeholders.
• Lead end-to-end program execution for new product development from concept to launch.
• Drive the phase-gate process with milestones, deliverables, risks, and key decisions.
• Build and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, dependencies, and risk strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive progress and resolve issues.
• Lead project reviews and communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.
• Track deliverables with dashboards, logs, reports, and checklists.
• Identify obstacles, analyze root causes, and drive cross-functional solutions.
• Navigate tradeoffs among scope, schedule, cost, and technical execution.
• Monitor project cost performance and progress toward financial/operational goals.
