Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead technically complex new product development programs across engineering, product management, manufacturing, supply chain, services, and sales. You will align teams, manage plans, and mitigate risks in a highly visible role interfacing with executives.

The PMO oversees engineering project lifecycles from design through production and sustainment, coordinating resources and key risks to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Program Management position.
• Experience delivering complex automation programs that include both new-product development and customer-site implementation.
• Experience managing construction, facility, infrastructure, or site-readiness dependencies associated with industrial automation deployments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with shared resources, aggressive schedules, and evolving requirements.
• Experience planning system integration, verification, commissioning, operational-readiness, and acceptance activities.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: plan and optimize project plans; manage scope, schedule and budget; facilitate cross-functional meetings; represent Symbotic to customers.
• Program Integration and Site Deployment: lead integrated planning across engineering development, long-lead procurement, site preparation, installation, commissioning, and handoff.
• Customer and Stakeholder Expectation Management: align internal commitments with customer expectations; translate complex issues into business impacts for leadership.
• Project Execution: lead multidisciplinary teams from concept through delivery and support; manage hardware/software deliverables across multi-disciplinary teams; manage artifacts like BoMs, TDPs, and requirements.
• Champion Process: foster transparency, speed, and synchronized partnerships; coach teams in NPD processes; drive lean improvements.
