Job summary

Meta’s Risk organization seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, large-scale risk programs across the company. You will collaborate with engineering, product, legal, policy, and compliance teams to design, build, and scale frameworks, controls, and tooling that keep Meta's products and infrastructure trustworthy at scale.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical, computer, mechanical or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years delivering complex software/hardware/system programs or technical PM.
• Experience in large-scale hardware/software development and product/program management.
• Ability to communicate complex technical investments clearly.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, or regulatory domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of risk programs across engineering, product, legal, policy, and compliance.
• Define program requirements, roadmap, and long-term strategy with stakeholders.
• Create communication plans to share status, risks, and challenges.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies; adjust scope, timeline, and resources as needed.
• Drive risk assessment frameworks, controls design, and evidence of effectiveness.
• Collaborate across teams for design, development, testing, implementation, and post-launch support.
• Track metrics and drive accountability for cross-functional execution.
• Anticipate and address long-term risk and compliance challenges in partnership with leadership.
• Align product strategy with key company initiatives and scale risk management for AI/distributed systems.
