Job summary

Meta is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex risk programs across engineering, product, legal, policy, and compliance. You will design, implement, and scale controls and safeguards, with end-to-end ownership from risk assessment to post-launch operations.

You will drive cross-functional execution, define roadmaps, and establish measurable risk metrics across Meta’s products and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• BS in EE, CS, ME, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years in software, hardware, systems engineering, or technical product/program management
• Knowledge of software and hardware development for large-scale hardware readiness
• Excel at clearly communicating complex technical investments simply and understandably
• Experience delivering complex technology programs from inception through delivery
• Knowledge of understanding user needs, gathering requirements, defining scope
• Experience across multiple teams with initiative in ambiguous spaces
• Experience defining and optimizing engineering processes at scale
• Experience building cross-functional relationships across time zones
• Experience solving complex technical problems in large-scale systems
• Experience building relationships across multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience defining strategic direction and opportunities for impact
• Experience communicating to executive leadership
• Knowledge of Large Language Models, ML, scaling distributed systems
• Knowledge of privacy, security, or regulatory compliance domains
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for the organization
• Proven commitment to scaling risk management for AI compute systems

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead effective program teams to align objectives
• Work with engineering, product, legal, policy, and compliance to define requirements and roadmap
• Create and implement communication strategies to share status, challenges, and risks
• Manage cross-functional dependencies, mitigate risks, adjust scope, timeline, and resources
• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of programs including design, development, testing, and post-launch
• Track metrics, quality benchmarks, and performance indicators for accountability
• Anticipate and evaluate long-term risk and compliance challenges with engineering leaders
• Drive product strategy to align with company initiatives
• Lead process improvements to reduce manual effort through automation
