Job summary

Meta is seeking a Senior Specialized Assessment Product Risk Program Manager to drive risk review for novel products and features. You will partner across Legal, Policy, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product to triage high-risk work, translate complex concepts into clear assessments, and guide decisions with independent judgment.

This is a senior IC role emphasizing risk programs and scalable processes. You will influence cross-functional teams, sustain escalation workflows, and explore

Qualifications

• 6+ years of program management, product operations, trust & safety, privacy, compliance or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-pressure, high-ambiguity projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience triaging novel or ambiguous product risks with no established policy.
• Strong communication and cross-functional alignment, navigating sensitive tradeoffs.
• Familiarity with data flows, technical systems, and product risks with mitigations.
• Track record of influencing decisions without formal authority.
• Experience building or improving risk review, escalation, governance processes.
• Strong judgment in competing priorities with significant risk.
• Experience using AI/automation to improve workflows and decisions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage triage/escalation for novel or policy-challenging product risks.
• Coordinate with Legal, Policy, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product for high-risk reviews.
• Network with stakeholders and persuade diverse audiences to drive progress.
• Translate complex concepts into structured assessments and recommendations.
• Facilitate risk-based decision-making balancing velocity and compliance.
• Clarify goals and priorities to move work forward quickly.
• Ensure escalations are documented, tracked, and resolved transparently.
• Identify gaps in escalation/review processes and drive improvements.
• Experiment with AI-integrated workflows to simplify work.
• Help Meta meet legal and regulatory obligations through risk reviews.
