The Ladders is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead strategically important programs in healthcare. Remote US-based role with no visa sponsorship. You will translate strategy into actionable plans, partner with engineering and business stakeholders, and drive cross-domain risk resolution.

Responsibilities include owning high-ambition programs, building scalable operating models, mentoring TPMs, shaping roadmaps, and guiding build-vs-buy decisions to improve business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Technical Program Management, at group or org level.
• Experience in fast-paced, highly technical environments; healthtech a plus.
• Proven success designing and scaling execution frameworks for high-risk, ambiguous projects.
• Broad technical fluency with cross-domain risk identification and influence.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps with strong decision-making.
• Experience mentoring TPMs and contributing to team growth.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage strategic programs with ambiguous scope and high risk.
• Design and implement execution frameworks and operating models to scale across teams.
• Resolve blockers and align short-term priorities with long-term strategy.
• Act as a technical integrator addressing architectural risks across domains.
• Shape the technical roadmap and guide build-vs-buy decisions.
• Serve as a strategic partner influencing priorities organization-wide.
• Decide when to shut down or redirect programs for business benefit.
• Mentor junior TPMs and participate in team growth through recruitment.
