Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Technical Project/Program Manager for a remote contract engagement. You will coordinate high-complexity programs and collaborate with executives and multiple delivery partners to ensure on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in project or program management within healthcare/insurance, with a bachelor’s degree (or 7+ years experience as substitute). W2 benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of related project or program management experience, preferably within healthcare, health plan, or insurance environments.
• Experience working with executive stakeholders, including vice presidents and above, under tight timelines in a consultative capacity.
• Knowledge of FEP mandates and experience with government-related projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives with many moving parts and cross-functional teams.
• Clear, concise communication to senior leadership on scope, timelines, risks, and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical coordination point for high-complexity projects and initiatives, potentially leading multiple efforts concurrently.
• Ensure deliverables from business and technology partners are produced, reviewed, and approved according to established schedules.
• Manage resources from multiple delivery partners within approved hours and scope.
• Identify, track, and mitigate risks, and communicate impacts, decisions, and status to senior leadership.
• Facilitate structured working sessions and executive presentations; translate complex topics into actionable plans.
• Mentor and provide feedback to team members to support a highly functioning team in a matrixed environment.
