Job summary

PayNearMe is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (IC) to drive execution of highly complex, cross-functional programs across engineering, product, compliance, and operations. The role balances strategic vision with day-to-day delivery, reporting to the Senior Director of Technical Program Management.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years managing complex technical programs.
• Proven track record delivering cross-functional programs on time.
• Hands-on Jira and agile tooling experience.
• Strong change management skills navigating ambiguity.
• Ability translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in technical conversations with engineering and product partners.
• Deep knowledge of agile, scrum, and lean methodologies.
• Excellent communication with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional programs from inception through launch across engineering, product, compliance, and business teams.
• Own portfolio-level roadmapping: identify gaps, run yearly roadmap planning with teams, and manage priorities across a portfolio of programs.
• Drive change management and enablement efforts to ensure teams are aligned and adopting new processes, tools, and programs.
• Scale TPM best practices, tooling standards, and delivery frameworks across teams and platforms.
• Identify friction points, align stakeholders, and establish repeatable frameworks to improve execution velocity.
• Provide leadership in applying agile, scrum, and lean methodologies.
• Understand architectural impact of cross-team work and navigate trade-offs with partners.
• Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, roadmaps, and status updates.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to translate business needs into executable plans.
• Anticipate systemic risks and dependencies; map risk and develop mitigation.
• Influence decision-making and align senior stakeholders without formal authority.
