Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Google Home to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners, translating analyses for executives and engineers alike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• Experience working with devices.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical projects or programs, working closely with Google engineers and technical staff to develop and track release milestones and schedules.
• Manage communication of progress within the core team and external stakeholders, and elevate issues as necessary.
• Assess the quality of releases through monitoring of incoming bugs and code changes to identify quality issues and trends.
• Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity and own technical relationships with vendors and partners.
