Zusammenfassung

Veolia in North America is hiring a Senior Technical Manager - Technical Expertise to drive and support hazardous waste projects across the Business Unit. Based in Boston, you will lead technical work, manage teams, and coordinate with corporate functions to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

This role requires 5–10 years in technical or operational roles, a Bachelor's in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (Master’s is a plus), and solid project management experience.

Qualifikationen

• 5-10 years experience in transversal technical/support functions and/or operational functions.
• Bachelor’s in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering is an asset.
• Experience in hazardous/industrial waste treatment and wastewater treatment.
• Experience in oil or solvent recovery is a strong asset.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Waste Industry knowledge is a plus.
• Developed presentation and communication skills, internally and externally.
• Understanding of PSM and change management methodology.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical and performance support to the Hazardous waste BU.
• Participate in development of business cases and memos for internal Go/NoGo (WIN process).
• Manage assigned projects including personnel, equipment, and subcontractors using proper project management.
• Ensure projects are planned and coordinated to schedule with health, safety, quality and budget considerations.
• Lead technical due diligence of new business acquisitions or plant upgrades.
• Assist Business Development in planning projects with financial estimates emphasizing operational efficiencies.
• Develop new process optimizations or pilot new technologies in coordination with corporate functions (BS&P).
• Test and implement new tools under development.
• Collaborate with T&P team for reporting and delivery.
