Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects across its global network infrastructure. You will plan requirements, manage risks, and drive schedules from initiation to delivery to ensure fast, reliable service for users in Atlanta and across the US.

The role requires 5+ years in technical program management, deep networking knowledge, and excellent communication skills to translate tradeoffs into clear executive and engineering recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in technical program management.
• Experience in network reliability or network health management for hyperscale optical networks.
• Experience planning and executing network migrations or infrastructure expansions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal business and cross-functional networking technical teams to identify and define tactical initiatives for network infrastructure needs.
• Translate demand forecasts into regional capacity plans, considering market trends and technology changes.
• Present network plans and roadmaps for approval by internal stakeholders for short-term and long-term strategies.
• Manage the execution of approved network plans by coordinating with network negotiators or vendor delivery managers to ensure on-time delivery within budget.
