Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects across regional and global networks. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with executives and engineers alike, driving scalable fiber networks and data center connectivity.

You will partner to plan and acquire long-haul and metro networks, colocation space, and critical assets to deliver fast and reliable experiences to users worldwide.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in technical program management.
Experience in network reliability or network health management for hyperscale optical networks.
Experience planning and executing network migrations or infrastructure expansions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal business and cross-functional networking teams to define tactical initiatives for expansion and cost optimization.
Translate forecasts into regional capacity plans considering market trends and tech changes for optimized networks.
Present network plans and roadmaps for internal approval from short-term to region-wide strategies.
Coordinate with network negotiators or vendor managers to ensure on-time delivery within budget.
