Job summary

UKG is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead organizational change for engineering-wide initiatives. You will coordinate with program managers, engineering leaders, and subject matter experts to define scope and drive adoption, readiness, and communications across multiple teams.

In this role you will own program delivery end-to-end when needed, translate technical standards, and ensure durable changes become part of normal engineering operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years transforming, changing, adopting, or enabling complex programs or initiatives.
• Experience with software engineers and engineering leaders with technical fluency.
• Knowledge of SDLC in a SaaS environment.
• Experience creating communications, documentation, training, or self-service resources for technical audiences.
• Experience assessing organizational impact and planning multi-team rollouts.
• Experience defining and reporting adoption/readiness metrics to leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to convey complex concepts.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs and prioritizing across timelines.

Responsibilities

• Shape program scope, audiences, prerequisites, rollout sequencing and success criteria.
• Develop and execute change and adoption strategies; assess readiness and adoption barriers.
• Determine communications, education, and support approaches for each change.
• Explain rationale and actions to Engineering; coordinate timing across initiatives.
• Prepare Engineering by identifying impacted teams, readiness criteria, and documentation needs.
• Create scalable enablement with guides, FAQs, training, templates, and support channels.
• Provide adoption/status tracking and leadership reporting that complements standard program updates.
• Lead programs end-to-end when no other TPM is assigned; manage milestones and dependencies.
• Sustain change with long-term ownership and durable engineering processes.
