Job summary

Goldman Sachs Bank AG is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (VP) to lead our Data Platform initiatives in Dallas. You will own the roadmap for our data engineering estate, drive cross‑functional programs, and partner with engineering leaders to deliver complex cloud data solutions including Lakehouse and data curation capabilities.

You will manage budgets, risks, and delivery across multiple teams, while staying hands‑on with data concepts and architecture discussions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
7+ years of technical program or project management experience delivering complex engineering programs.
Strong SQL, relational and analytical databases, data modelling concepts, and APIs.
Experience partnering with engineering teams to deliver technical outcomes.
Ability to manage dependencies, risks, and issues across multiple teams.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and planning/ reporting.

Responsibilities

Own the roadmap for a large data engineering estate.
Run the commitment and risk books of work with cross‑functional partners.
Lead platform migrations, data model and API rollouts, and AI enablement programs.
Steward financials, including budgeting and cloud cost efficiency.
Build metrics describing platform health, adoption, and delivery throughput.
Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to drive commercial impact.
