Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Google.org's Tech for Social Impact (TSI) team in the United States. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs from planning to delivery, coordinating with data and software engineers, and communicating tradeoffs to executives and engineers.

The role focuses on unifying data workflows, applying AI governance, and driving cross-functional adoption across global Google.org initiatives, delivering impact with responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with data infrastructure, data governance, and data analytics.
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program charters, multi-quarter phasing, OKR structuring and reporting, and technical dependencies across data engineering, software engineering, product management, and BI.
• Drive proactive risk governance across live grant pipelines, overseeing zero-downtime staged program transitions across Google.org pillars, shadow testing, and rollback checkpoints to protect payment velocity.
• Lead downstream organizational change management, including product roadshows, trainings, and playbooks to modernize data management infrastructure.
• Apply advanced AI/ML governance and probabilistic risk management to develop workflow automation and oversee technical solutions that impact Google.org programs globally.
• Provide proactive program leadership and clarify complex technical requirements across stakeholder and partner cross-functional teams.
