Nordstrom, Inc is transforming its engineering operating model and seeks a Senior 2 Technical Program Manager to bring order, rigor, and measurable progress. You will partner with engineering and business leaders to drive sequencing, gating, and reporting in a fast-moving retail tech environment.

You’ll build runbooks, thresholds, and cadence while ensuring teams adopt new practices. Expect collaboration across security, architecture, and platform teams as governance evolves.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical program management.
• Experience leading large cross-functional programs.
• Experience helping teams adopt AI-assisted development tools and practices.
• A track record of executing defined phases to completion.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, release management, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day sequencing of new processes under the operating model.
• Make sound judgments on thresholds and ownership as items resolve.
• Adjust plans as the model evolves and communicate changes clearly.
• Pilot new processes with a small set of teams before broad rollout.
• Drive change management for the operating model, communications, and adoption tracking.
• Define and stand up key metrics and reporting visible to leadership.
• Translate qualitative goals into trackable measures for teams to meet.
