Job summary

Stord is seeking a Senior/Staff Technical Program Manager to guide the Stord Labs innovation program. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle from hypothesis through lab testing to scaled deployment, coordinating robotics, AI, and warehouse tech with product, engineering, and operations.

This role blends hardware and software for real-world fulfillment advances. You will manage experiments, partner with external vendors and academic institutions, and drive closed-loop learning into production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 8+ years in Technical Program Management, Engineering Management, or equivalent.
• Strong background in supply chain tech, warehouse automation, robotics, or fulfillment ops.
• Experience managing RFPs, vendor evaluations, and strategic partnerships.
• Deep understanding of agile, sprint planning, and cross-functional dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end experiment lifecycle from hypothesis to deployment in production labs.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Operations, and warehouse teams.
• Facilitate leadership alignment on when to move tech from lab to pilots.
• Prioritize initiatives across hardware, software, and AI/automation tracks.
• Coordinate with academia and frontier AI partners for pilots and tests.
• Develop playbooks, procedures, and rollout plans for validated workflows.
