Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer, Program/Project Management to plan and direct design and technical engineering teams on large, high-visibility programs. Lead cross-functional global core teams, establish schedules, drive meetings and ensure program outcomes align with business goals.

You will present to business leaders, coach team members, manage risks, budgets and interdependencies, and drive strategic initiatives across domains in accelerated compute programs.

Qualifications

• 11 to 14 years of experience in program management
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Hybrid role based in CA; in San Jose area or willing to relocate
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple high visibility programs of high complexity and/or business impact; lead cross-functional, global core teams and kick off programs
• Present to, communicate with and influence segment/LOB business leaders
• Lead/develop company-wide cross-functional or complex process initiatives or business strategies
• Demonstrate ability to grow cross-functional team members and coach Program Core Team members
• Coordinate site-wide deployment efforts and ensure alignment with program outcomes
• Define program governance and manage the program budget including forecasts and actuals
• Manage risks and issues and implement corrective actions
• Align deliverables to program outcomes with business change managers
• Manage main program documentation such as the Program Initiation document
• Daily program management throughout the program life
