Job summary

Disney Experiences (DX) Tech & Digital in Orlando is hiring a Senior Technical Project Manager to oversee interdependent technology initiatives for the Disney Consumer Products portfolio. This is not a remote role and relocation or in-area presence is required, with cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, product, and partners.

You will drive Agile ceremonies, roadmap planning, risk management, and reporting with dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, and other tools.

Qualifications

Must have minimum of 5 years of technical project/program management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Info Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.
Understanding of Cloud, APIs, services, database technologies, technologist roles and responsibilities, capabilities & platform dependencies, software development lifecycle,engineeringand/or product development.
Influence and negotiation, communication, professional maturity & organizational savvy, relationship building, dependency mapping.
Must have extensive hands-on experience with Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall and blending of styles to facilitate collaboration and delivery.
Must have deep understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD).
Significant experience in coaching and mentoring teams on project management practices.
Must have experience and knowledge of AI emerging technologies, nomenclature and strategies.
Excellent ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of a project.
Experience managing large project budgets.
Must have experience with tools such as: Microsoft suite, Keynote, Smartsheet, MyPPM(Clarity), MyJira, Tableau, Claude, and PowerBI.

Responsibilities

Drives execution and delivery of technical projects through full delivery life cycle ensuring project is delivered timely and on-budget.
Works with engineering teams to establish processes and ensure success on strategically prioritized projects.
Defines, optimizes, and manages Agile project management ceremonies and processes for large project teams.
Maintain monthly forecast submissions, including adjustments to resource allocations and forecasts for partner teams.
Conduct regular program status meetings with all partners and ensure needs are met.
Build program reports and dashboards for program management, sponsors, and partners.
Monitors & adjusts program plan to respond to unplanned changes to meet business goals.
Act as a primary liaison among multiple teams including Product Management, Design, Technology, vendors.
Lead project delivery by coordinating cross-functional dependencies, resolving blockers, and managing RAID.
Escalate key issues and risks to ensure timely resolution.
Ensure proper project closure including lessons learned, transition and hand-off to production operations.
Own Jira and Confluence administration, governance, and executive reporting.
Drive roadmap planning, dependency mapping, and infrastructure migration coordination using Advanced Roadmaps.
Support cross-functional teams through training, coaching, and program-level coordination.
Support Jira Cloud migration readiness.
