Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive the execution of complex programs exceeding $50M. This role is located at Rivian facilities in Normal, IL; Plymouth, MI; or Atlanta, GA, and involves defining scope, schedule, and budget while aligning cross-functional teams and external partners to Rivian's mission of redefining sustainable transportation.

You will foster relationships, proactively manage risks, and communicate status through reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years managing complex programs with budgets >$50M.
• Define and maintain program scope through lifecycle.
• Build strong internal/external partnerships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with external vendors and suppliers.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with program tools (JIRA/Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Own and develop comprehensive program plans with scope, schedules, and budgets.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain.
• Manage risks and mitigate issues to ensure on-time delivery.
• Report status with milestones and gates for >$50M programs.
• Coordinate with external partners and vendors.
• Use tools for action tracking and documentation (JIRA, Confluence, Drive).
