Business Operations manages global program and project management, resource prioritization, performance tracking, administrative services, planning, and space management. The Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) will oversee complex technology programs, particularly in Identity, applying Agile and Scrum methodologies.

This role involves partnering with Program and Engineering managers to deliver Disney’s Identity experience, coordinating technical deliverables, and ensuring seamless application launches.

  • Build strong relationships with engineering, product, and program teams.

  • Proactively identify and remove barriers to progress.

  • Prioritize effectively under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Continuously improve processes.

  • Communicate clearly with all leadership levels.

The role requires leadership, technical expertise, and communication skills, managing programs within DEEP&T’s processes and tools, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead planning, implementation, and launch of multiple technology programs.
  • Define scope and communicate requirements to engineering teams.
  • Manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
  • Understand technical architecture and dependencies.
  • Facilitate technical meetings and decision-making.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks.
  • Provide status updates and technical explanations to leadership.
  • Foster positive team dynamics and culture.
Qualifications:

Basic:

  • 5+ years of technical program management experience with engineering teams.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Agile/Scrum experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience collaborating with product and design teams.
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle.
  • Technical literacy for technical discussions and documentation.

Preferred:

  • CSM / CSPO certification or similar.
  • Experience with streaming media, identity services, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, and tools like Jira, Airtable, Teams, Miro, Google Suite, Confluence.

Salary range in NY and Seattle: $132,500 - $177,600 annually, plus bonuses, incentives, and benefits.
