Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager leading the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale data center, cloud, and research computing infrastructure.
• Experience with distributed computing platforms, virtualization and container orchestration (Kubernetes), cloud services, and AI/ML infrastructure.
• Experience evaluating HPC and data center architecture, technology assessments, platforms, and vendor offerings.
• Ability to translate research and institutional requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable technology solutions and to develop financial analyses (TCO, ROI, budgeting).

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale data center, cloud, and research computing infrastructure, including high-performance computing (HPC), GPU-accelerated computing, large-scale storage, and high-speed networking architectures that support scientific research and AI workloads.
• Translate research and institutional requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable technology solutions.
• Develop programs or initiatives from concept through implementation, including business case development, stakeholder alignment, governance design, and transition to operational ownership.
• Develop financial analyses, including cost modeling, total cost of ownership (TCO), return on investment (ROI), budget forecasting, and vendor pricing evaluations.
• Evaluate high-performance computing (HPC) and data center architecture, technology assessments, platforms, and vendor offerings against organizational needs, strategic goals, security requirements, and operational constraints.

  • 10+ years combined IT Project and Program Manager experience with technical expertise in modern compute, storage, networking, and AI infrastructure technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with distributed computing platforms, virtualization and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), cloud services, and AI/ML infrastructure.
  • Experience evaluating high-performance computing (HPC) and data center architecture, technology assessments, platforms, and vendor offerings.
