Job summary

Equifax, Inc. seeks a Technical Product Owner for Finance to bridge customer needs with technology and drive value across platforms. You will groom the product backlog, clarify technical requirements, and enable efficient software delivery that aligns with business goals.

You will partner with Product Management, Engineering, and QA to define scope, size work, and guide MVP definitions while balancing customer impact and technical feasibility in a cloud-based SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of product owner experience in a cloud-based and/or SaaS environment.
• Working experience using Agile methodologies, facilitating Agile ceremonies and Lean product management.
• Working experience with data structures, data analytics and AI concepts preferred.
• Experience working with cross functional teams preferred.
• Exposure and experience understanding and tracking capacity against the budget of product initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Bridge customer needs with technology, groom backlog, and guide engineering and QA teams.
• Contribute to plan and roadmap with solutioning, estimation, and MVP definition.
• Manage and prioritize team backlogs, define acceptance criteria, and participate in demos.
• Capture feedback, lead retrospectives, monitor adoption KPIs and drive improvements.
