Job summary

Edward Jones, a Fortune 500 financial services firm, seeks a Senior Digital Product Owner (FinOps) to shape FinOps strategy and drive cost transparency across cloud and infrastructure. You will partner with technology, engineering, product, and finance leaders to influence decisions and deliver data-driven insights.

You will define the FinOps roadmap, lead capabilities across Inform, Optimize, and Operate, and develop executive dashboards for cost accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FinOps, technology finance, cloud cost management, business analysis, or a related field, including implementation of the FinOps Framework.
• Experience defining priorities, managing backlogs, gathering requirements, or leading delivery of business capabilities in an Agile, SAFE, or product-centric environment.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization, forecasting, cost allocation, and showback/chargeback practices.
• Experience using FinOps tools such as Cloudability or CloudHealth.
• Experience with Power BI, Excel, or similar reporting and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the FinOps capability roadmap with stakeholders for cost transparency and accountability.
• Lead FinOps capabilities across Inform, Optimize, and Operate phases; drive adoption through stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop executive reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics for leadership decisions.
• Track business impact and value realization of FinOps initiatives; manage cloud commitments and savings plans.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions and drive adoption of financial management best practices.
• Support governance and financial planning across cloud, AI, and infrastructure services.
