Job summary

Octave seeks a Technical Product Manager to lead end-to-end platform solutions that enable AI-powered workflows across EPC/EPCM, energy & utilities, or public safety sectors. You will partner with engineering, data science, and product teams to translate customer needs into scalable products and to drive roadmaps for productized, out-of-the-box platform solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical product management or product ownership role for industrial B2B software.
• Building new products, not only improving existing ones — taking a solution from concept to launch.
• Defining and shipping AI or ML-powered products at enterprise scale.
• Domain expertise in EPC/EPCM, energy & utilities or public safety/infrastructure.
• Shipped production AI to users — evaluation, quality, and safety work.
• Use of AI tools and workflows for PM tasks.
• Technical depth to be a credible partner to engineering — agent frameworks, retrieval and knowledge graphs, model-agnostic architectures.
• Can carry a technical narrative to customers and executives.
• Effective at getting teams to work together without managing them

Responsibilities

• Define and build net-new solutions for the platform across use cases with prototypes and evidence.
• Build domain-specific solutions with product teams and drive productized outcomes.
• Coordinate templates, reference workflows and shared practices for repeatable platform solutions.
• Grow library of agent knowledge and workflows for platform use.
• Make autonomy and safety calls for regulated operations with oversight and audit trails.
• Feed platform roadmap by communicating requirements to product managers and teams.
• Support commercialization with pricing, packaging, and go-to-market.
• Equip delivery with reference workflows and templates for config-based onboarding.
