Job summary

Simplexity Product Development seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager with a mechanical engineering or robotics background to drive prototype-build execution on a confidential robotic product‑development program at a client site in the Seattle area.

This hands‑on role coordinates cross‑functional teams, owns build schedules, and drives deliverables to committed dates. You will report milestone health and risks to engineering leadership and procure timely decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical project management experience with electromechanical hardware.
• Ownership of complex prototype‑build execution.
• Ability to evaluate work plans and judge timelines.

Responsibilities

• Own coordination and delivery of prototype builds from design release through fabrication, assembly, integration, and test.
• Build and drive detailed schedules with milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and build-readiness criteria.
• Drive supplier deliverables with clear dates, interrogate progress, and elevate risks early.
• Pressure-test engineering and supplier estimates, then push back when timelines aren’t credible.
• Convene the right people to resolve ambiguity, unblock execution, and drive decisions to closure.
• Report milestone health, risks, and recovery plans to leadership.
