Job summary

Simplexity Product Development seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager with a mechanical or robotics background to drive prototype-build execution on a confidential robotic program at a Seattle client site. You’ll partner with the Lead TPM to own build schedules across mechanical, electrical, firmware, test and supplier teams.

You’ll manage design releases through fabrication, assembly, integration and test, ensuring milestones are met and risks are mitigated.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical/Robotics/Mechatronics) or related field.
• 8+ years of technical project management experience with electromechanical hardware.
• Ability to evaluate work plans, dependencies, and realistic timelines.
• Proactive, structured facilitator who drives decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own coordination and delivery of current and next-version prototype builds from design release through fabrication, assembly, integration and test.
• Build and drive detailed schedules with milestones, dependencies and build-readiness criteria.
• Drive supplier deliverables with clear dates, progress checks, and early risk escalation.
• Assess engineering and supplier estimates and push back when timelines are not credible.
• Convene the right people to resolve ambiguity, unblock execution and close decisions.
• Report milestone health, risks, and recovery plans to engineering and program leadership.
